Brittanie Tubbs Obituary
BALTIC- Brittanie H.D. Tubbs, 31, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her loving family by her side following a courageous battle with Churg-Strauss Syndrome. She was born in Middletown on November 4, 1987 to Martin Tubbs and the late Susan (Griswold) Tubbs. Brittanie graduated from Lyman High School and earned her certification as a CNA; she proudly worked in her chosen profession until she could no longer perform her duties due to this rare autoimmune disease.
Brittanie sadly leaves behind her father Martin Tubbs and his wife Linda of Ashaway, RI,; her brother Brian Kieffer and significant other Jackie Steinberg of Willimantic; her sister Megan Kieffer Bombard of Groton; nephews Gabriel Kieffer, Seth Bombard and Brendon Frantz; niece Kailey Bombard and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, all whom will dearly miss her.Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 beginning at 5:00PM followed by a memorial service at 8:00PM at Belmont Funeral Home, 144 So. Main St. Colchester.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in Brittanie’s memory may be made to the Vasculitis Foundation http://www.vasculitisfoundation.org .Please visit www.belmontfh.com to leave condolences to the family.
