COLCHESTER- Mary Rose Hamon, 89, died on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Harrington Court. She was born on March 30, 1930 to the late George and Rose (Tobin) Sincavage.
Mary lived most of her life in West Haven, before moving to Colchester to live with her son. She was a loving wife to Albert Hamon Sr. who predeceased her and a loving and supporting mother to her only son Albert Jr. Mary worked for many years as a cashier for Grand Union Grocery Stores in West Haven and Norwalk, and was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Church in West Haven.
Mary is survived by her son Albert Hamon Jr. and his wife Eileen of Colchester; her brother Joe Sincavage and his wife Martha of West Haven; grandchildren, Tara, Matthew, Crystal, Albert, Michael, Riley, and Casey as well as 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, George and Rose and husband Albert Sr., she is predeceased by her brothers Stanley and Timmy and her sisters, Victoria and Helen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the convenience of the family. Belmont Funeral Home LLC has been entrusted with Mary’s care.
