Marianne Allard Obituary

TAFTVILLE - Marianne M. Allard, 52, was surrounded by her family as she past away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at W. W. Backus Hospital following a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born in Rochester, New York on April 11, 1966, to Margaret Weisbender. Marianne grew up in upstate New York, graduating from Bishop Kearney High School in 1984. She was a proud alumna of Northeastern University in Boston, MA, graduating in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
She was currently employed at the Traveler’s Insurance Company in Hartford as an Insurance Analyst. Marianne loved her cats and was a huge Boston Bruins fan. She was a very kind, caring and loving mother of two daughters and a mother figure to many more. She was very excited to become a grandmother and could not wait to meet her first grandchild this summer. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Marianne is survived by her two daughters Lauren Frederickson and her husband Andrew, and Nicole Allard both of Taftville; her fiancé Carl Roach, together for 11 years.
She was predeceased by her mother Margaret Weisbender. A Celebration of life will be held at Uncle Kranky's in Jewett City on April 6, 2019 from 1-4pm. She will be laid to rest with her mother in Rochester, New York at a later date. Belmont Funeral Home LLC has been entrusted with Marianne's care.
