HEBRON- Robert H. Haines, 88, died peacefully on Saturday, December 1, 2018. He was born in Moorestown, New Jersey on January 11, 1930 to the late Harry and Marie (Siebke) Haines.While attending college, Bob fell in love with Gwendolyn Hasting; 66 years ago, on August 30, 1952, they secretly eloped and their love only got stronger. Bob was a mechanical engineer who designed engines for Pratt & Whitney, retiring after 35 years. He had a passion for airplanes and was a member of the Prop Dusters model airplane club. He loved his family, music and his sport cars.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Gwen Haines of Hebron; his children Robert D. Haines and wife Maxine of Lebanon and Laurie King and husband John of Kila, Montana; four grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
