Zachary McCusker Obituary

SALEM- Zachary J. McCusker, 36, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 30, 2019.He was born in Norwich on April 18, 1983to the late Michael and Susan (Eliason) McCusker. Zach graduated from East Lyme High School and worked as a laborer. He enjoyed camping, fishing and playing basketball, baseball & football. As a sports fan he cheered on the Yankees and the Colts. Zach was a great dad who loved to spend time with his son and nephews; he was generous and would give anything for his family. Zach sadly leaves behind his son Jalen McCusker of Salem; his brother Sean M. McCusker and his significant other Jenny Messervy; grandmother Susan Eliason of Old Saybrook and his nephews Sean “Micaiah”. McCusker, Jr. and Marshall McCusker. Services will be held at a later date. Belmont Funeral Home LLC has been entrusted with Zach’s care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to offset funeral costs.
